So I wanted to pick up a guitar to bang around on when I’ve had a few two many bourbons and didn’t want to subject my 70’s jazzmaster or gretsch to potential “clumsiness”. This 2006 ‘72 tele deluxe shows up on reverb and I totally lowballed the dude and he accepted. I’ve been playing it for the past week or so, and this guitar is just stupidly fun to play. Will upgrade the capacitors, but it sounds pretty good considering right now. I play mostly 80’s college radio and “protogrunge” (green river, mother love bone, fastbacks, that kinda stuff), and this guitar feels like it is made for those genres. Man, I love this silly thing.

I've had one for a few years now and besides the pots I also upgraded the pups to Monotone Wide Range. Check out their tone comparisons on YouTube. I love this guitar.

I'm refreshing the page over and over again, still can't see the thing. Internet must be broken.

Beautiful guitar. I simply love the Deluxe Tele. Looks like it's in great condition too.

Awesome, congrats! I have a '72 Thinline RI and really like it. Don't care if it does or doesn't sound like the originals, I enjoy it for what it is.

I've been looking for a natural ash deluxe for a fair price now for about a year, so far no luck. I might have to pay what they want
