It’s amazing how Ibanez produces such nice playing guitars at reasonable prices. I have an AS 83 as above, but prefer the AS 73’s plain top. But the neck on the 83 is a little different and a good difference to me. Easiest of my 12 electrics to play. I swapped in some Harpmaster (Korean made) PAF clones, and it came with Gibson P94’s that I was not fond of. Such a good playing and sounding guitar for little money. Have gas for for an Ibanez AR320 these days and I have never played one. Enjoy your new guitar.

Here's a Tobacco burst AS73 and a Red AM 73 I like yours but it looks more orange. What is the actual Ibanez color designation?

They are pretty nice. Various similar Ibanez, if you go up a bit to one with the Super 58 pickups in it you wont have/want to change them out! I didn't think the stock pickups were bad at all though. But i put up with HB's more than I like them in the first place!

This. I swapped in some GFS Goldfoil Ferrites, they have more character than the ACHs in my opinion.

Here's my AS73 in Ivory. I like the pickups just fine.

There is an AS53 that is their most basic version I think.

    1V/1T and a toggle switch.

My GAS resistance is still doing pretty well. I only briefly considered purchasing this after thinking about which 2 other guitars I'm not currently playing that much I'd sell first. I don't think I'd buy any guitar sight unseen any more. I'd have to have it in my hands and play it through an amp and it would REALLY have to say something special to me.

    I know, pretty boring huh!

I'm not a fan of the ACH pickups, but the newer Classic Elite pups sound better to me.

Oh yeah...pic of my AS73 "Vintage"
