I have long been wanting one of those. I couldn't resist my urge any longer when this one came up for 350€ used.

It came with 9s on it. I will introduce it to my Twin tomorrow and put 11s on it plus give it a proper setup.

So far I'm pretty impressed. Build quality is top notch!

For 350€ that looks a steal against the new comparable (520) models.

I have the a s 53 while in no way a comparison to yours in Beauty and quality. Mine is a very playable instrument due to the 12 inch radius fretboard something I've always wished Fender would take note off and make more of. It is also left-handed.

Beautiful guitar! Coil tapped? I've never heard anyone complain about an Ibanez, and lots of people rave about their necks. Looks like you got a good deal on a sexy and versatile guitar. Enjoy if in good health!

Yeah the PUs are splitable. I am looking forward to experimenting with that feature. A first for me.
It weighs 3.4 kg btw, so nice and light!

    Lovely!
I've owned a few of the 70s/80s models.
    Great guitars!

Sweet! I had one of the vintage ones. It was very nice, heavier than an old LP though.

    Congratulations!
ARs have the best headstock shape ever !
That model looks great and it has very versatile switching possibilites for the pickups. Super 58 pickups?

Yes, it has the Super 58s in it.

I'd love to try one of the old ones from the 70s/80s.

I bought my MC series guitar in 1982, and it has Super 58. I remember trying an AR then, and it sounded much "darker". Not sure what pickups it had.

    Thanks guys!

I have to fine tune the pickups some more but I have to say that she sounds great so far. I am impressed.

Looks like pure joy to play!
My main guitar is an Ibanez Artcore AF75, back in the 90s my main guitar was an Axstar, which was an attempt from Ibanez to implement a new line.
Ibanez are great and I'm always tempted when a nice Ibanez pops up on ebay, reverb etc....
