NGD has anyone seen one of these before?

    I saw this on CL and just had to get it. After some research I do know what it is, but wondered if anyone else has seen one. :) This is straight from the factory. It's hard to see but it is also double bound as well.

    I saw that guitar on CL as well. Your photos make it look better than it did in the ad. Nice score!

    Fender Seacaster Tele

    It's a Fender Seacaster Tele, it was a promo with Lucky Brand Jeans, their designers colaborated with Fender to come up with this. Total run was 25 Teles in 3 colors Olympic White, Dakota Red, and Surf Green all double bound and Road Worn. The pickguard it shaped like a fin on a surfboard. The neck plate is etched with RC LB and Fender. (Riviera Club, Lucky Brand)

    The one I bought was supposed to be autographed & given to a charity for auction but that didn't happen so.... It ended up on CL.

    also hard to photograph is all of the crazing all over the body, really really looks vintage.
