I posted this on my Gretsch forum, thought I would share it here.

Gretsch G6228 Players Edition, Cadillac Green.

It is their Japanese ProLine; it includes locking tuners, 12” radius, treble bleed, strap locks, hard shell case and no load tone pot.

it is simple a stunning guitar to play. The neck and fingerboard are amazing.

That's my dream guitar that I may just spring for when I get my long-awaited job promotion. Congrats, what a great acquisition.

Playing TV Jones rhythm in a band makes a second guitar player not necessary. The sound is like an organ it fills all the guitar mid space perfectly.
I need to get out my Japanese Gretsch 1.75" nut width and fill the void. Maybe man up to engineering a 3 piece band?

FYI...just in case you care....the Duesenberg Les Trem

    https://store.duesenberg.de/en/tremolo-systems/34/duesenberg-les-trem-ii

    Should drop right on.
(that way you can have a wiggle stick without mangling the guitar in any way....and still put it right back to stock)
I have one on my 5439 and it's pretty slick.
Takes a little getting used to (mostly due to the location and size of the Les Trem), but works well.
I wouldn't go dive bombing with it, but for more of a "bigsby-ish" style, it's pretty nice.

...and I agree with everyone else....nice guitar! Great color.

Wow. I've never been inclined toward any Gretsch.

Until now. Simply gorgeous, enjoy in good health for many years.
