    Love this guitar!

Sounds fantastic! Looks great and the build quality is outstanding.

However, I traded for this guitar and it only came with a padded gig bag. I would like to get a hard plastic case for it but which one? Many of the cases online are not model specific, which ones are known to fit Teles? I'm looking for something less than $100.

Check.out the SKB FS6. I bought one about two years ago to have something a little easier to carry than my G&G rectangular case.

My SKB fits like a glove and is fairly light; on the occasion when I'm not comfortable with a gig bag its what I use. Good looking case too, though mine was a bit over $100 I found it to be worth it.

Shop around though-- I bought mine at one online retailer, then found it way, way cheaper at another, and had to negotiate a price match thing.

Hope this helps, there may be something out there you like better.

It just occurred to me, Rondo has one that a lot of folks here seem to like. I have no model number or anything; try a search with "case gig bag" and you'll have enough options to last awhile lol.

    THIS! ^^^

I used Gator GC-Elec-A cases for years (they can be had for about $90); they're better than a gig bag, but have a larger footprint and a bit of wiggle room inside.

For no more that $30 more (you can probably score a deal on Ebay), you can grab an SKB FS6. The SKB is ATA-grade, a smaller footprint, and a perfect fit for your Tele or Strat.

All of my Tele's are in SKB FS6 cases now... ;)

Oh, I like your taste in Tele's. This will be my next Tele:

Yep, mine looks just like that one, only it's much darker. I'll try to figure out how to post a picture.

I have an ASAT Special that I keep in a Fender Gigbag and have always assumed it would fit in a Tele Case.
My ASAT is the Ash Blueburst and is my heaviest Guitar. Even a 3 inch strap only helps a bit. Sitting down is best.
