Thanks! I couldn't play for almost a week due to work schedule... Picked it up again today: this guitar has mojo!
I've not played much for 2 years-ish. The bug has returned [see 2xLP NGD thread]. I mashed those Pauls for a while and my fingers, even my fore-arm muscles hurt from it. ;)

Enjoy mashing that one! 🦾

It could just be the angle of the photos, but is the high E string perilously close to the edge of the fretboard, especially higher up the neck? If so, it looks like you could fix this by loosening the four neck-to-body mounting screws, pulling the neck to the side to get things parallel, and then tightening the screws back down. I hate it when I go to play a string and it pops off the end of the fret...

Hi! No I confirm it’s the angle of the picture! Let me say: on one of my Telecaster I tend to slip off the fretboard on the high e string while on this Strat it feels perfect. I even feel the fretboard is larger than my Teles… since I feel I can fret and bend and be safe!!!

I don't like red guitars, but I like that one. Nice.
Thanks!! I don’t either, in general. I think that, for example, CAR is too bright. Or even the Gibson’s “Cherry Subburst” Les Paul is too red-ish. But I loved this one because it’s faded. Depending on the light and the angle it can be sparkling and it can be darker. Love it!

after I started playing it, I was… shocked. I could really “feel it”. Apart from the fact that it was almost in tune and perfectly setup in terms of action, everything I tried to play seemed so easy. The guitar makes it easier to play. It’s a very peculiar feeling. I don’t know if it’s “the one”, but it really makes me feel at home. And the feeling is different from the same model I tried at the store. Or any other guitar I’ve played so far.

THAT right there is a beautiful thing. THAT moment is the reason I have guitars that, on paper, I should hate. Black Les Paul? My worst nightmare... except for the one that I had to buy, because it played itself. Skinny little pencil neck Fender? Horrible, give me a tree trunk, please. Except for the 4-5 I bought that do EXACTLY what my brain tells me they should.

So CONGRATS, this sounds like a keeper.
