    I now own my first electric. My Vintage Whiten Fender American Tele HUM was delivered a few days ago. Went a bit overboard on my first electric. Now, I definitely need to improve my play8ng ability. The Fender gig bag included not too good. Also I,proved the case.

    It may seem "a bit overboard" at this stage of the game, but that's a guitar you won't outgrow for a lonnggg time (if ever). As for the case, I also got tired of wrassling cheap cases and bought a similar one. I'm thankful every time I snap those TSA latches. Your new guitar deserves a nice case. Enjoy that guitar and welcome to the fold! BTW, next up is a decent tube amp, and this is the perfect place to get educated about that -TP

    i played one of these over the summer! it made the top 3 telecasters on my list in a pretty large shop. i think it has one of those pop-outable volume or tone pots for the humbucker? it's hard to go back to ye Olden Chrome Dipped Vintage Tele Neck pickup after you get a few teles in the stable with humbuckers.

    Congrats.

    A very nice guitar that will surely stand the test of time.

    Question;
    Was the included gig bag that you got like this one below?

    Mine came with my brand new Stratocaster from Sweetwater back in 2017.
    It's a good padded gig back, but just not a very attractive one.

    :(

    Nice. Good choice for a first tele. Some people complain about the frets being too big, but I like them. Very comfortable to play.
