The rw's are awesome guitars!
Did a few adjustments, added a little more neck relief. Cleaned up some of the fret sprout and knocked off the sharp fret ends. Did a string height and pickup height setup and intonation.
It plays much better, it still could use a fresh set of strings but I'm happy with it now.
The cat heard tuna not tuner. Worst set of strings I ever played at GC were on a purple RW. Maybe they are reliced, too.
Oh I like that! Congratulations.
I replaced the e & a, the e string was a .042 should have been a .046. Both strings were bad.
So far so good, saved a few bucks. Just needed some neck setup work!
New bridge saddles for the Road Worn. I already had an extra set from a half bridge I bought recently. Screws seem thinner but the intonation is much better.
Those are cool guitars...I own a blonde 50s one and it is one of the best Teles I own.The purple one is pretty and unique.Congratulations!!
Nice guitar! It would look even better with tortoise shell guard . I used to hate tort, but now I love it on everything - especially metallic colors! Enjoy!
Glad it worked out for you.
Beautiful, and looks like lots of fun!
The guitar he's sniffing looks good too!
I got mine, a purple, a few months back. Added Glendale brass saddles, Glendale stainless bridge plate, grease bucket tone control and kinman treble bleed. Now she’s perfection.
I played one of those at GC and it played and sounded nice, just not into purple.
It's growing on me! lol! I like this color better than BSB. I built one Tele(my avatar) that has butterscotch blond and I hardly play it. It has all good parts but I never locked into it. I'd like to redo the BSB in a Mary Kay Nitro finish..
