NGD Fender Telecaster Jason Isbell

So without too much of talking here is my first Tele. Very resonant instrument and pickups in this one are a bit hot but sound glorious. I am using the photos from the place I bought the guitar since they are better than anything I can do.

Happy NGD! I've always liked the Jason Isbell Tele's. It is one that I always recommend to my Strat playing friends that don't think they could get on with a telecaster.

Yep, I though all that “neck pickup is straty” is marketing but a lot of similarity. To me sounds a bit like Texas Special pickup.

I think the neck might be a twisted tele pup, but it's the actual neck that most of them end up falling for. The 60's ish C shape is a good fit for lots of guys that think of telecasters as either a baseball bat or a thin modern c. And being a bound guitar always seals the deal for me!
