thanks man! Yeah it’s amazing!! I’ve had many guitars and a couple of teles but this one is very special! Good weight as well, about 3,5 kg (like 7,6 lbs?) light enough to be easy on the back but heavy enough to feel sturdy with loads of sustain)
Sorry bout that
Love the sunburst, the binding and the rosewood.
There's no need to ever replace that one.
That's a classic.
They should offer these left handed.
I have an AO Jazzmaster and it is a beautifully made guitar that is a joy to play... I’ve played the AO 60s Tele and I have said before and will say again that it’s IMHO the best standard production Fender Tele in the lineup. I’d love to have an LPB one.
Congrats. I like it a LOT! You're putting the temptation hex on me.
I love the AO 60’s Teles but since I was buying my first one (I’m principally a bass player), I thought an AO 50’s was a more appropriate starting point.
I’ve owned mine about 2 years and love the massive neck and really prefer the radius over the AV’s and AVRI’s. But I get why people like to rag on my guitar. I’m with you on these instruments coming awfully close to a CS. I’ve had several accomplished players comment favorably about my Tele.
Enjor your new baby, she’s a beauty. I love the binding and that rosewood neck is fabulous. It seems like the 60’s AO was the star of the entire AO line. I never hear anything (other than the cost) said poorly about them. May you have this guitar for many years, I’m sure it will serve you well.
I think that the 1-pc body does not matter one bit, and that you have a perfect pair there!
Real nice! I love that sunburst, and the binding!
Both are very nice, congrats!
Thanks man!! Totally agree, its amazing! Havent tried the jazzmaster! How is it?
tried the 50’s one as well and it was just as great as this one, but too similar to the avri
I tried out an AO50's at a local store. It's nice... but it looked and felt like every other 52 reissue out there. Also the U neck on those is pretty substantial.
The AO60's though... It's like a work of art! I'm normally not into "pretty" Teles but something about it just speaks to me
I have the same guitar but in burgundy mist. It’s a fine guitar. You’ll enjoy this Tele.
I really liked the one in burgundy mist as well!! Do u have any photos of it? What does it weigh?
Great guitar. I would add another tele to the herd to get that.
Nice! I'm hoping to get one just like it one day
My dream guitar right there
