    Hey people,

Just received my Olympic White Strat. MIM Deluxe Roadhouse; bought it brand new. Been wanting a white Strat for a long, long time now. Gonna be some fun here in a bit.

Haven't even fired her up yet. So far it was unpack, put on the chicken head knob (it's a 6-position switch), and take a pic. I'll be playing it shortly and will let you know what I think of the p'ups.

Very nice Strat! Congrats. I have a 2016 Elite with those pickups that I recently traded another guitar for.

OK, I just played it for about 3 hours. Everything is perfect. The pickups are crystal clear and bell like. IMO very Stratty in a delicate way. Articulate. Distorted it was great too. Came with a decent setup. I played things from mellow Moody Blues to Heavy Metal. It was great the whole time. I think I may have a new favorite here. Oh, the S1 switch and the boost - I really can't tell much of a difference when it's on.

Very nice. I picked up a similar looking Classic 70s Strat with the SD Jimi Hendrix Voodoo loaded pickguard Wednesday.

I've got one from around 2016. It has the Texas Special pickups. I did try a new Strat with the noiseless pickups and I liked it too. Congrats on your new guitar. Looks great.
