Beautiful guitar and outstanding dark rosewood neck.

I have a CME exclusive Daphne Blue American Special Tele and I went with Glendale Compensated Brass saddles and they are wider than the Fender versions plus they are slanted.

I also went crazy and bought two sets of locking tuners so my Tele has all short post locking tuners like the Elites. (The standard set has three short and three tall posts).

That’s all the mods I’m doing on mine because I’m a bedroom player at low volume so the Texas Specials are fine.

Nice guitar...congratulations.I prefer the mint green pickguard which looks so nice against the green body.

Shame on you! Seeing this picture tossed a load of GAS on me. Well, it was smoldering there anyway. I saw one of these in a music store about an hour away from my house several months ago and loved it. Same color, too. A couple years ago, I almost bought a sunburst one at Elderly Instruments in Michigan. That guitar played like butter - smooth and easy.

Just found a really nice green one on Reverb at a good price and ordered it. I am really fond of the green and am super excited to get one.

Very nice! I've been fantasizing about a nice sherwood green myself. Interesting color...almost looks like Ocean Turquoise in some shots.

Sherwood is a very resonant color. ;)

Very nice, congrats. I agree on the pickguard swap. For the other stuff, I always like to play as-is for a spell to get a feel for it, then when you change out something you can more easily compare the differences.

Beautiful Tele, that Sherwood green color is really beautiful and unique. And the Rosewood neck's deep dark color really makes the green pop. Congratulations!

Great looking Tele. I got the Maple Neck version which comes in the "Limited Edition" Autumn Blaze Metallic. The Sherwood Green with Rosewood Fretboard and the Autumn Blaze Metallic with Maple Neck are the two "Limited Edition" American Specials Fender released in 2018. I made some changes to mine also. I replaced the tuners with Butter Bean Button Hipshot Staggered Locking Tuners and I replaced the bridge with a Gotoh Nickel plated Brass with solid Stainless Steel individual bridge saddles. Man, what an awesome difference. I too was considering swapping out the pickups but not now with the new Gotoh bridge. upload_2019-7-25_12-26-31.jpeg
