I wanted to share a pretty unique guitar that I recently got in the classifieds here from @scott_eave and I've hardly been able to put down since. It's a Fano TC6 (their take on a T-style guitar) in distressed Gold Top Gold finish. The part that makes it somewhat unique is that it has a set neck, which is also bound with trapezoid inlays. I think it's also a 24.75" scale. The end result is sort of a T/LP hybrid (my two favorite designs) and I'm quite smitten with it.

The TV Jones Super'Tron pickups are some of my favorites that I've played. They sound nice clean, but (IMO) really shine with some dirt on them.

Here are some pics that I took on Sunday morning. Enjoy!

Sorry if this is in the wrong section. It occurred to me later that this might not technically be a T-style.

Nice one! Made during the Premier Builders Guild (PBG) era by their factory headed by Gene Baker.

Since PBG went under and Fano has new owners I'm not sure if you could get specs from the company, but they might have all the records from PBG. Regular bolt-neck TC6s were 25.5" scale, but since this one is a set neck it could well be 24.75" scale.

A pretty spectacular hybrid, but I’d call it a t-style. Well done, I would love to hear those TV Jones pups!

I played a few Fanos as CME sometime last year. They're different in a good way. If I was going to drop some $$$ on a high end guitar I'd give them a serious look.
