So the long awaited Casino finally came about two weeks back and I've been having a blast with it.

It's in Natural finish and the stock P-90's pickups are quite good. My second MIC guitar (the other is an Electromatic Gretsch Pro Jet), both are flawless in design, quality components and tone. I've been playing it through the Vox AC15 C1x and it sounds wonderful. Great tones at low gain. Equally suited for Rock, Blues and Jazz. Been learning some more Bealtes riffs and some Grant Green! A great guitar for the price. Any love for the Casino here?

Congrats! I’ve got an Elitist Casino in natural that I love. Welcome to the Casino Club!

Casinos are cool, I've got the Gary Clark sig model. Epis are definitely underrated, their hollowbodies are pretty nice.

Had a Casino Coupe. That was a beautiful guitar. But, it’s diminutive size left me wanting a real Casino.

An underappreciated classic, for sure. I wish I'd never sold mine. Hang onto yours!

Yes... another Casino fan here. They're great. Mine is one of the MIJ models (Elitist - not a name I really like, but the instrument is awesome.)

Surprisingly, I like my Epi ES-339 Pro P90 just as much, if not more! And it was 1/4 the price.

Chinese-made Epis, these days, can be really great instruments - though you may want to pick from a few, to cherry pick. First ES-339 Pro P90 I bought had a bad switch, so I exchanged it for another one that I actually like even better. It was on sale at GC for around $370, as I recall, a few years ago.

I'm glad yours is great, and it makes me wonder what the quality level is on these MIC Casinos. I had a MIK Supernova (Oasis-model Casino) when those came out, and it was crap: thick, thick finish, poor joints everywhere, and the famous instant-destruct Epi toggle switch -- not to mention junky pots and boring pickups. Epi can build to a higher standard, and the Casino design is, I think, really appealing. I'll have to check one out in the store here. Thanks for the update.

Pen-F with the Pany 20 is a nice combination, too! ;) We have that in common, as well!

I bought my daughter one the same as yours. She’s intermediate level but it will last her well beyond that. Congratulations.

    Sweet! And congrats.

I have the Inspired by JL in natural. Absolutely love it. Doesn't hurt that I stole it. It was priced as a used regular Casino.

I have one that's 8 or 10 years old and I love it a bunch. I only take it out now when I have a pedal steel gig as I can just unplug the cord from my steel and slap it into the Casino and do guitar when I'm called to. I don't have to touch the amp settings I have for steel with the Casino as with those fat single coils it matches the steel settings to a tee. I Can't do that with a Les Paul as it's too muddy with the humbuckers being used. I can't use the Tele or Strat either as it just doesn't get the twang I want with them... My Casino is also a natural finish and I have a Bigsby Palm Pedal string bender on it... I also have an Epiphone Rivera P-93 which has three P-90s on board which also sounds pretty good......... Here's a shot or two of my Casino and of the P-93............JH in Va. Casino with BPP.jpg Riviera P-93.jpg
