Have really just gotten back into Tele's recently and loving two recent acquisitions. A few months back, sprung for a Fender Custom Shop Artisan Pale Moon Thinline. Sweet guitar and started inspiring me to get back to going deeper with my guitar skills. I have a few other high end guitars that I was able to purchase recently (Gibson M2M 59 LP, Gretsch Black Falcon Players Edition, Gibson Warren Haynes 335 and a few more). Was looking for an additional guitar that could be a beater guitar that I wouldn't be too concerned about lugging around and getting excessive wear so purchased a Squire CV Tele. Didn't pay much attention to the details of the guitar. Weighs over 9 lbs and I was a little disappointed with the guitar. Not bad, just not bonding. BTW, it came with '51 No Caster pups and am considering putting those in the RW but not sure yet. Will be dumping the Squier CV. Was able to sell a Strat to fund another purchase that is replacing the CV and was trying to decide between a Road Worn 50s Blonde Tele or a Brad Paisley. Was nervous about the radius on the RW. Decided after reading a lot of reviews on the RW to pull the trigger. Got it a few days ago and I just can't get over how much I love the feel and general vibe of the guitar. No regrets concerning the 7.25 radius. Has been the most inspiring guitar to play up to this point. Just weighs 7.2 lbs!!
I chose the Blonde model to recreate what was actually my first electric which was a late 60s Blonde Tele. I have an aged white pickguard ordered to give me that first Tele vibe that I had with my first one. Anyways, glad to finally comment on the forum and looking forward to playing my Teles.

I got a LPB one about a week ago. I usually don’t play 7.25 necks either. When I got it I purposefully set the action higher than I normally would and I totally agree; the new feel is very inspiring. It rings like a bell.

    Congrats on the new tele.

Nice Tele you got there! I have three 9.5 necks and two 7.25 necks in my stable and it's interesting how a subtle change in profile can inspire. Overall, the 7.25 feels better to me, but the 9.5 profile is easier to bend, so it's kind of a toss up.

Welcome and that’s a nice guitar. I also had a mid to late 60s Tele years ago and loved the 7.25 neck radius.
