I went into a couple of the local pawnshops yesterday that I check in with once in a while. Teles of course always catch my eye first. I saw this Squier Thinline but I’m not that familiar with Squiers so didn’t really know what I was looking at. I checked it out for a minute and it seemed well made and finished. Went home and researched it and realized the price on it was a steal. Seemed too good to be true so I went back this morning before work but they didn’t open early enough so I had to wait all day til I got off. I went back and luckily it was still there. I brought it home and cleaned it up a bit, put some new strings on it and plugged my vox amplug into it and jammed for about an hour. I think I might like it as much as my Am Pro. This think is a great player. I messed around with the pickup heights a little. The intonation is pretty good for not having compensated saddles. The action is very comfortable for me and there doesn’t seem to be any dead spots and no buzzing. The sun shines on a dog’s rear every now and then after all. Pics to follow.
