Wow what a score! Congrats! Only thing on my Craigslist is junk.
Hey congrats, great Tele, crazy price, enjoy it!
Before you do, try to see if the blade switch stops steady at "Position 1.5". Some of these will stay put there, and that provides the N + B sound in parallel. Remember these OVs are not RWRP and so there's less to be accomplished by adding a 4 way. If you have valid 1, 1.5 and 2 positions, you've got the same thing a conventional switching scheme gets you with 1, 2 and 3 positions. A little practice, I got the hang of it.
All the CL listings for Squiers in my area are "Fender" Tele or Strat.
Sweet!! I see he called Gruhn's. Did he mention what they estimated it at? Did you let the seller know it was worth a little more?
wow that's a outrageous bargain.
I wasn't quite sure what it was at the point of sale. His garage wasn't well lit, but he wasn't shady in the least. I gave him what he asked in cash and stuck it in my truck. I was pretty sure it was a score.
For $350, I’d buy it just to sell it for $850+ on Reverb. Assuming, of course, I didn’t fall in love with it, and I never assume that with BSB Teles.
Put your hands together and welcome to the stage a heck of a deal ...... bravo.
