Only 500 made for the European market, only 250 in seafoam sparkle. Imported by the seller to Ontario Canada from Anderton’s Guitars UK. In pristine condition!

Does anyone else in North America have one?

Very nice guitar. I like sparkle on sparkle. I need a green guitar. Is that enough of an excuse? I think so.

That is a beauty. Did a quick check--Andertons could send one to the US, but it would be a little under $600. Darn it!

    Nice guitar!

I would give serious thought to building an entirely new stuffed pickguard with Fender's CuNiFe Wide Range Humbuckers and 1 meg pots in it.

Then you could keep the original pickguard assembly intact should ever want to sell it.

    Love the color!

That’s a cool idea. I watched a blind play test between a Squier Tele Deluxe and the Fender Vintera Deluxe, and the reviewer said that with the exception of the pickups he could not feel any difference in the playability of the two guitars. Perhaps a pickup upgrade would be a good idea one day.

Personally I think that's something I wouldn't bother with, unless you're having issues with the bridge. In my opinion, and it is just that, but it's something that can be done in time, there is no urgency. From what I've experienced, the main thing to change out would be the tuners for some Wilkinson deluxe vintage style. I did that with mine, the stock on my CVC 60s were ok, but not the best at holding tune very well, and when I replaced them the pegs felt like toughened plastic, or something. But as I've previously said, if you're having no issues, then leave it until you need to. Now play the snot out of it Dave.
    All the best
    Steve

Tone gets lost in Zinc Alloy. It's a Pot Metal with Air Bubbles etc. Ever break a Tuner, or Bridge Screw? Same thing! Stainless or Brass are better Transferring the Vibration. Bridge and Tuners are part of the Tone Chain, so I give my Girls the Best I can!
