got her today, she is absolutely beautiful -meet "Blondie"
Certainly looks okay you’ll have to let us know how the new indo squiers play
I bought a van jaguar I just can’t get along with because of the skinny neck
That neck looks like it’s got a nice quilt to it
Back looks nicely matched too
Looks like a beauty, congrats!
Great Looking Guitar! Hope she plays as good as she looks!
Wow, that's a real looker. What's the body made out of? (I've read that they can be Poplar or Maple)
good choice.hope you'll strum some rolling stones chords
I was wonder what species of wood too - sure looks like maple. How heavy? Beautiful guitar !
Looking good Schef, congrats!
How's the neck on these? Skinny?
looks good, congrats.
It is. It comes in maple and oplar depending on the finish. The sunburst model being poplar tho it doesn't say on the fender site. But sweetwater shows that and i called fender and they also said as much. Why they only mention maple on the fender site i have no idea.
I’ve been thinking about getting one of these as well. How are the pups in this?
Some high end clarity?

Fender website says the body is ash
Sweet guitar..looks like ash. enjoy
What a neck for a Squier - HOME RUN!
You're looking at the wrong guitar. It clearly says maple. Click "specs". https://shop.fender.com/en-US/squie...-vibe-70s-telecaster-thinline/0374070521.html Also, as i said the burst finish is poplar. Doesn't say on the site but sweetwater's shows that and a fender rep confirmed it to me.
It's Maple and the CV 60s Thinline is Nato. I just got the new Indonesian CV 70s Strat and a couple of things are a little cheaper than the Chinese CV Strats (the bridge saddles and switch), but overall I think it plays and sounds better than my Chinese CV 60s Strat. I love it! It compares more favorably to my Mexican and American Strats than the Chinese one IMO.
Your link , when I click it , does not show a specific model of guitar
All I found when I looked yesterday was …… https://shop.fender.com/en/intl/squ...dified-72-telecaster-thinline/0301280500.html
this link takes you to a Squier 72 thinline , crafted in Indonesia , in sunburst … click the colour button and it brings up the natural finish model which looks a lot like what is at the beginning of this thread . Both of the guitars in the link I provided are built with an ash body
so this is not what the original poster bought ?
Very cool!! Congrats!
I’ve always hated the vintage tuners but otherwise...awesome!!
