Dang, that is soooo nice!
This is my 6th tele. I have 4 right now unfortunately I sold 2 of them in the past like an idiot. I like this one better than the American standard I had. Always had maple boards though. What do you guys that love rosewood use to treat fret boards?
Such a great bang for the buck and the rosewood board is killer
For a "cherry" guitar, it sure looks white.
I was on the fence between the Classic 50s and Classic 60s... in the end I went with the 50s - but now I’m thinking a 60s would make a nice stable mate. HNGD, Natalie is a real beauty!
Great choice. The Classic series guitars are great value workhorses.
Clarinet bore oil. A little goes a long way.
I think your right. I've wanted a 50s style tele for a while. I've got a 72 reissue and now the 60s. The 50s tele will be my next conquest hopefully. I have been hunting for a telecaster custom for a while too though. They make too many of these things! Lol
The Olympic white really jumps out at you too. This guitar is sitting on the rack with my other 4 fenders and it's the only one you see.
Gorgeous, really want to save for one BECAUSE of the 7.25 radius.
My 2012 Antigua is the same but, its a closet queen..
There's also an ongoing tonal debate if it matters if the pickups are mounted to the body or the pickguard.
Nice! I had one years ago.
Nice guitar....enjoy it
I'm thinking about getting one, but also think the Baja 60's might be better...
I like the Baja too. No complaints about this one though. I'm not a fan of rosewood honestly but something about this particular guitar just spoke to me. The only difference between this and the Baja 60s is the 4 way switch and the s1 volume pot I believe.
I recently acquired a 2016 MIJ Classic 60's Tele, I'm not sure if the pickups are the same as yours, they are described as "Vintage Style Single-Coil Tele"
The neck is ok but the bridge is a bit un-exciting/thin.
Congrats! I have a Classic 50s in black. Would love the 50s model in white as well.
Really nice guitars!
