    What comes to mind is my 1973 Datsun 510 two door butterscotch I had in the 70s-80s.

    Very cool then if it is all original...it is in great condition.Any chance you can pop off the pickguard and take a pic to see if the finish is paler underneath.I am curious if it was even paler when brand new and yellowed a bit to what it is now or did it really keep that same color for 70 years.

    Woah - amazing, congrats!

    I love ECG.....I try and visit every time I'm in the states, and have seen that amazing guitar a few times.

    For sure, scalloping the neck and routing the body for a Kahler this weekend. Then it’s EMGs all the way, baby!

    Maybe someone is, but that person is not me. I have a very good tech (Fender certified etc etc), will be going through it with him. I’ll let you know :)

    When I go through it with my tech, I’ll have him take it off and I’ll get a photo. I don’t trust myself with 70-year-old screws and plastic :)

    Yeah, trust me everyone: you don’t want me going anywhere near a 70-year-old guitar with any kind of tool except a Tortex pick.
