Probably. Just set your finger on the spring and pick the string
Looks great up close. The checking is cool.
Glad to see people take the time to type out Brad Paisley and don't try to abbreviate. BP is a nasty, filthy oil company and Brad Paisley.....is not. :^)
@boris bubbanov are YOU actually Brad Paisley???
Your last two posts would indicate that you are. Hmmmm..::
An awesome review - and this looks like a solid instrument with great attention to detail.
...and could it be that a Mexican-made instrument is more favourable to one made in 'Merica?
Best pix I've seen so far.
The relicing and paint job looks dumb as hell.
I think it would look so much better without the artificial arm wear. Just a hint of wear to make it feel broken in would be ok IMO. I love the silver sparkle. It seems like a nice nod to Don Rich and Buck Owens.
That's the thing guys - this don't look like every other Telecaster ... this one looks like Brad Paisleys Telecaster
You probably walk into a teenager's birthday party and challenge him to an arm wresting contest, right?
You can like the guitar or not like the guitar of course, that's perfectly fine. And if someone asks others' opinions on something, they should expect ideas from a variety of viewpoints.
But when someone is excited about a new purchase, and really just wants to share that excitement with fellow tele players, what happiness does it bring you to come into the thread and crap on his celebration? What on earth made you read this thread and think "I just have to make sure that guy knows that I think his new guitar that he's excited about looks dumb as hell."
There is certainly something dumb as hell in this thread, but I can assure you it's not a guitar.
So does your post.
the arm rest wear is definitely not the 'finest' part of this purchase...but mine already has wear building on it making it look less like a straight line. It never actually did, but with jaggedness already coming in...it will look really cool eventually.
But yeah, if it's good enough for brad to play on stage, it's good enough for me.
I don't care if people like it or not...I do, and that's what really matters when it comes down to it.
Hey "boris" see if Brad will sign my guitar when he comes to Charlotte
Hmmm those photos make the relic job look really real with the exception the forearm wear. It's too neat or something.
All else looks really good.
great pics! Nice guitar.
Sweet - looks like it will be a really fun and unique guitar for you that will last forever. Really glad to hear your observations on the pickups, specifically. Everyone is focusing on the neck size but the pickup combination is a really key part as well (of course).
Continue posting observations when you get the chance! And maybe if I run into you around town some time you'll let me give it a play
You will love the pups! Great cutting power on the bridge and nice tight low end
I like the bridge pickup more than my broadcaster custom shop bridge pickup.
