Ordered a Brad Paisley Signature Road Worn from Sweetwater and it got delivered today! Super light, perfect neck, and love the finish. First order of business was replacing the pickguard with a white one, an idea I borrowed from Kenny Vaughan who did the same to his. Great guitars! Now my RS Guitarworks Marty Stuart has a silver sparkle cousin! paisley.jpg

Congratulations! I picked up one about a year ago after waffling back and forth (I'm not the sort whose style lends itself to a sliver sparkle finish). I'd been modding another Tele I had in hopes of achieving the sound of those BP/Twisted Tele pickups these things have. My partner and bandmate finally said, "Just get the Paisley- it has the sound you love." I've gotten positive comments on the sound of that guitar almost every gig since.

And - great minds -I have a white guard on mine as well. Enjoy!

Well now for the bad news. The top strap button pulled out as soon as I put it on by the strap. Looks like they had a small wooden dowel in the hole to screw into. Then, I plugged it into the amp. I had my deluxe reverb on 4 and as soon as I turned in the direction of the amp it started squealing. Any ideas on the cause? I think this one is gonna go back to Sweetwater :(

Sorry to hear this. Guess they only had time to do a 54 point inspection.

If you like the gtr., you might want to call your rep and see if they will pay for the repairs. They did this for me when a Tele arrive with a broken pickup selector. They just put money back on my account. Make sure you keep the candy as compensation for pain and suffering.

Those are GREAT sounding guitars. I had one but couldn't deal with the light weight. I like heavy guitars and it only weighted 5.8 lbs.

The white pick guard looks so much better on that one!

Speaking of which. Are there any body suppliers out there that sell the same Palowinia (sp) core with the spruce front and back (I think out) there?

Sent the one with the issue back to Sweetwater and they sent me a replacement super fast. Great customer service and I’d definitely deal with them again!

Excellent. The wrong pickguard, squealing pickup, and the strap button pulling out makes me think that was a "factory second" or b-stock item that accidentally got shipped.
