Been building this one for about 3 months (thread over in the DIY section). This is my first Tele.. Got strings on it and set up for the very first time today so it's finally a playable guitar. Sounds great through my Princeton. Will try to record some clips once I have it dialed in.

Body made and finished by me from Swamp Ash
Neck from Warmoth
-roasted maple
-pau ferrou fretboard
-SS jumbo frets
-slim neck profile
-compound fb radius 10-16"
-Tusq nut
Tuners Gotoh
Bridge Gotoh modern
Pickups Fralin split blade, high output
Pots, CTS vol 250k, tone 500k, cap orange drop .047uf
Switch CRL 3 position.
Finish nitrocellulose, body gloss, neck satin.
Strings dunlop 10s (Billy Gibbons, used to be called Mexican Lottery Brand)
Straplocks, Dunloo

The pickguard was kind of the inspiration for the whole guitar. When I saw the material, it reminded me if the ocean, and then at the beach, I saw a faded out, weather bleached sign. The two images came together in my head and I had a picture of what I could do with a Tele build.

Okay, quick vid on the bridge pickup. Can't push the amp as hard as I would like at home (it'd probably overload the phone mic anway) so not as chunky as stage volume. But sure sounds like a Tele.
