Parscaster! Had a ton of fun with this one, and finally last night dialed everything in, and now it plays and sounds really great. Ash body, Allparts fat neck, CS Nocaster bridge and Broadcaster neck pickups, Barden bridge, bakelite guard, Kluson tuners, B. Mis and clear nitro lacquer, tinted lacquer on neck. I think I'm going to go with the witch hat knobs rather than black domes. Color so hard to photograph, but this is as close as I can get.

I like those dome knobs. Where did you get them? Are they standard size or shorter in height?

Thank you. Yes, Burgundy Mist from Reranch.

The knobs came from Guitar Parts Factory on eBay, and they're the same diameter as standard tele knobs but just a bit shorter. They're plastic and fit very well on split shaft of CTS pots. Link.

Nice! I have a a Strat and and a Tele in the works.

Is that Reranch's tinted lacquer on the neck? Looks like a nice shade.

Wicked. Impressive, spec-wise. And those rosey streaks in the rosewood look awesome with the burgundy mist. Enjoy!!

What a beaut! That's a beautiful rosewood board and I absolutely love that body color. Your finish looks great! That's a rattle can paint job? Also, what grain fill process did you use on the ash to get a dead flat finish? Awesome work!

The tinted lacquer is minwax tinted with transtint toners. A few drops of amber and one drop of brown. Sprayed with preval spray unit. (Image from a previous finish, but It's the same mix and spray unit).

Thank you! Yeah I lucked out with the rosewood on this neck. Really rich dark with some reddish streaks.

I got it grain filled from a builder, and I don't know what he used. It wasn't perfect (came also with some light dings), but I just went with it. I didn't do a proper finish job, sprayed a super thin layer of color (B. mist) right on wood, and then clear coat (minwax) on top. I wet sanded and polished it to a nice sheen, but it's thin and it will age and ding easy. I managed to make dome damage right by the middle saddle already while I was drilling the channel for the bridge ground (ugh!).
