I traded my Gibson Les Paul Standard 50s for a fiesta red AMVII 1961 Stratocaster. I am so happy right now. I have never owned a reissue and I love it. It plays great, sounds great, and looks so good. I feel so much more at home on it than I did the Les Paul. I just wasn’t getting along with the LP. I might have lost a little cash value but I gained a player which to me is worth more. Here are the pics of it.

Thats a keeper right there!
I love my Fender Vintera 60s strat and I also absolutely love my Gibson Les Paul Standard 50s. Strat and Les Paul, if you can have them both, it is all you need IMO.

Man I wanted to love that Les Paul so bad but it just wouldn’t happen. I think I want a Vintera model too. Maybe a 50s. I would love another AVII in the 57 Strat but there is no way I can afford that for awhile.

I have no experience with the 50s Vinteras, but I bet they are as good as the 60s models. Really great stuff!
