This is def an underrated finish on the ProIIs. Seems like the Dark Night one got all the love initially but this looks great. Enjoy it.

That looks like a great guitar. Really love the finish. Amazing how something designed so long ago can still look so modern.

I have an olympic white/tortoiseshell version that I absolutely love. The pickups don't quite have the tele spank of my DIY with Bareknuckle Pups in it but I find them very versatile and great for a range of style.

Bought a new Am Pro II Tele in Mercury. What a great Tele, lots of things to like; rolled neck edge, satin finish on back of the neck, pickups are really clean, treble bleed circuit, traditional bridge w/top load capability, and the flight case is a nice touch. I've only played it for an hour or so last night. I'm pretty much a Les Paul guy and put 10's on them, so getting used to the 9's, and liking them. The only thing I probably will not use much is the push/push pot for the series/parallel switching.

I know guys who still swear they will never buy a newly made guitar. Whatever. This Tele and my 2021 Les Paul 60's Standard are very well made with zero issues. View attachment 1075032

Beautiful guitar. Congratulations! Am Pro II is an amazing series of Fender production guitars. I had a Strat from the series. One of the most playable guitars I’ve ever picked up.
