She arrived at my doorstep a little bit broken. I wasn’t looking for a loose screw, so I cleaned her up and got her ready to leave.

She asked if I’d take some nice photos of her to put online and I obliged. But once I saw her laying in the carpet for her photo shoot, I had to plug in. I can’t believe how much I enjoyed her humbuckers and driving her into fuzz.

You know that feeling you got when you knew your playboy days were over because you just might have found the one...

In all seriousness, I bought it scratch and dent for about half price. It arrived with the neck humbucker wired, but unscrewed and the tone/tap knob off. Was shipped in a fender box, but bag or styrofoam.

I thought for sure it was going back. Only took a few minute to get right and it played great, as good as any of my other teles that I’ve been setting up all week.

Because of some loose screws and a tiny ding, it was let go cheap. And it’s solid. Went back to the original plan to flip it, but after I played it, it can take the place of shows where I usually bring my trusty old MIM 72 deluxe reissue.

Lesson: if you’re a tele lover, you probably can’t flip them too. You’ll want them all

Not dishonorable at all. Who knows what wretched misery you might have saved her from?

If I were 30 years younger, why I'd....oh, wait. band rules: never tap your bandmate's landlady...
