    The bad thing about having a good relationship with your local shop is that you get an email saying, this just came in the shop and it's awesome. If you're interested I'll hold before I list it. And that's how you end up with yet another tele. I recently ditched my Epiphone Sheraton to make room for my Custom Shop '55 Esquire and ever since I've felt the need to have something with humbuckers. So, that's why he emailed me. So far, so good.

    Is it new production? If so, I wonder if it has the new CuNiFe pups in it or what.... One of my favorite Fenders for sure. Congrats!

    It's a 2010 model. I might consider upgrading the pickups at some point. These aren't bad.

    :cool::cool::cool:

    Congratulations!

    Don’t be too hasty in changing out those pick ups… I have a 72 re-issue Telecaster Deluxe, which I initially was going to switch out the pickups, because they weren’t real CuNiFe… I’ve decided to stick with them after all, because they sound good to me…

    Are they the same?
    No
    Are they good?
    Yes.

    Nice. I've had about a dozen of these either Fender or Squier.
