Ordered sight unseen from GC online with hopes that it was actually the 60th model in blonde nitro. There were no pics and it was listed as 60th Telecaster—the price was way low for that model. On my email receipt it had more details and mentioned the Crimson Red. So now I knew I had a standard en route. Picked it up today and it looks brand new. Feels light and had the original TSA case and an abundance of case candy (5 allen keys!). Here’s some pics:

Very nice! I had an early 90s MIM Tele Special in that color. Still one of my favorite colors.

Pretty. Reminds me of a St Blues Bluesmaster guitar I had once.

Yep. Guitar Center has a very consumer friendly return policy so if it was a dud I’d be out $20 in shipping. The original receipt was in the owner’s manual. I paid 1 penny less than original owner paid in 2011.

Nice! I always did like those 2008-2016 American Standards in the ash body/trans red finish.

One of my favorite Fender colors. I have a Jazz Bass in CRT. It's like a secret menu color. Even on the Fender charts, the history is really vague. I have tried to find info on that color. Every once in a while you see a guitar from the 70s or later in crimson trans but it's like they keep it quiet. I love it.

yaaah! how did Fender slip up and not paint the that beautiful guitar Fiesta Red?
    Heads are going to roll.
Though the mistake came out splendidly,
"we just can't allow things like this to happen, do it again and you get painted that oxygenated guacamole burst paint color".
    Congratulations
