I’ve been looking for a good 335, and today I finally found it! This one is a 2007, custom spec (or maybe done for some one like wildwood) has a nice bit of flame to the top, plays like a dream, and sounds like all the records you hear 335s on! I’ll have more pics later when we get home, we had to do some driving to find this one, but I kinda knew from the second I saw it that this is THE ONE…

As promised a couple more pics now that I’m home, you can see the flame better in this pic. Not AAA flame, mind you, but better than the flame on the guitars on sweetwater right now. Weighs 8lb 6oz so while not a lightweight she’s quite manageable… I played her through my modded blues jr and she’s a very rich sounding guitar, with enough clarity and detail on top to make me happy. Gonna have fun come Monday night rehearsal with the horn band!

Wow!! Big congrat!!Beautiful. Someday,…. I’ll have to settle for something “inspired by” your guitar.
I’ve played a bunch of them over the years and no 2 are alike-so you really have to try them. If the budget can’t hack the Gibson, some of the Epiphones work well at a much lower price point. Others to consider are Guild Starfires (I have one, excellent guitar) some of the Washburn and even the Hamer Echotone… good luck man!!
