Are these CV's still made in China? I thought they moved production to Indonesia?? Are they still the really good CV line that got everyone's attention?

I havent tried these ones, but when I get a chance and visit a shop, for sure I will!

I had my eye on another model, the one that has two P90's instead.. I wish they didnt discontinue it..
Crafted in Indonesia. I haven't played any of the old CV line but the quality of the new ones seems shockingly high for the price. Like the original poster said, bone nut, solid tuners, solid pick ups. Good stuff.

I doubt it's a real bone nut, even the U.S. Fenders that say they have a bone nut actually have a synthetic bone nut.

They're now being made in both countries, even among the same model. I have both the new CV 70s Strat, and the new CV 60s Mustang, both made in Indonesia, and IMO they are just as nice as any of the previous CV models I owned, and I actually prefer the new Fender designed alnico pickups to the DD and Tonerider ones in the previous versions. I also have a Chinese made Squier Contemporary Tele HH, and all three play as well and sound as good or better than any of the previous VM and CV models that I've owned.
