My first post comes right after I picked this baby up! The greatest thing about this guitar is the neck—just so comfortable. I plan to play this one an awful lot.

I love double bound telecaster bodies. That guitar is one "looker".

How do you folks feel about the three-saddle bridge? Are they hard to intonate properly?

    Nice guitar dude, and welcome.

Yes, IMO the 3 saddle bridge is a pain to intonate. Easiest thing is to swap out for some compensated saddles.

Three saddle bridge? Let your ears give you the answer.......... I've no problems with the many that I own. Some like six saddles, some like compensated. Your choice.

So pretty that it intimidates me. That's one I would worry about dings and scratches.

All but one of my telecasters have a 3 saddle bridge. Some of mine do have compensated saddles, some don't. Certain guitars seem harder than others to get on the money and those are the ones that I put compensated saddles on.

I am having so much fun playing this thing! I am primarily a bass player (having played for about 30 years) but have recently begun learning to play “standard” guitar because it more often is the best tool to support my singing.
