So this week I picked up this black Indonesian made Squier Stratocaster, virtually unplayed by the looks, but already with little dents in the frets higher up the neck, as I discovered when I played it more thoroughly at home.
Still, soundwise very good, I like the neck, started playing all kind of different things on it than on my other guitars, which to me always is a good sign.

Thanks! So I paid €250 for it which I thought was reasonable. Did some research and because of the Duncan Designed pickups I am guessing this is a Vintage Modified Stratocaster, quality wise just under a Classic Vibe.

My observation is that the build quality is virtually the same between Indonesian made Standards, Vintage Modified and Classic Vibe models. They're all built very well with good parts. The Standard and VM are often good deals on the used market because they get undervalued as compared to the CV line.
