    Nice, congrats!

Hope I’ll see the day that I get on with an SG. They’re such cool guitars but I can’t get used to the overall feel of them.

    Congrats!
Fadeds are a great deal and you can buff them so they shine like God intended.

What, no P90's! You need to expand the family a wee bit more.

It's a 2018 Gibson Les Paul Classic Player with P90s in Sunshine Orange finish.

(Apologies to the OP for highjacking his post). I'm still considering swapping out the black plastics to make it look like this:

‘Cool collection dude! Some really nice guitars there.

Sorry to hijack a little further, but here’s my recently completed P90 guitar. Just need to tweak the bridge a little, and then she’ll be perfect. I love everything about it, and she sounds great.

HNG day OP! How's the 490 in the bridge? I've only had it in the neck, 498 at the bridge.

Compare/contrast to 57s is fine, as I have a 57+/57 combo in my recent SG Standard.

i balanced em out real even in volume, iuse the neck a lot.and also a blend of the 2. The bridge is nice, compared a 498 a lil less shrill if that makes any sense. But i love my LP 490/498. Of all the guitars i have this and the Nighthawk are the ones i use every pup and setting and constantly work em, both really cover some sonic territory. Got this SG cause of the pickups. sat tonite messing with it while watching TV, nice neck, its rounder but it fits me.prob why i identified with nitehawk..the bottom shape and how my hand lands on guitar so natural. Strap this one up higher than my others for some reason .

^^ Funny, I strap my current SG up higher also. Had a couple in the past, and I don't recall doing that.
