Received it today from a Reverb seller and loving it. It was advertised as a PRO model but I'm seeing some info that the PRO series came out well after 2004. Regardless, great sounding and playing guitar ! Grover tuners feel smooth and it's heavier than I expected for a hollow body but still very comfortable. Can't say I really needed it but the price was a steal so here it is !

Cool I have the blonde version that I fouled up with good tuners and 57' Classics. Pretty sweat guitar... gets good comments by anyone who plays it...

...just needs a less excessive headstock

It's a maple laminate all around which accounts for the weight. I have the Blonde and mine is a factory second - there's a miniscule indent on one of the MOP blocks that was expertly repaired. The only thing I've done is put Flatwound 13's (Webstrings New York Jazz) and tuned down an entire step to D
and the sound is wonderful as is Her playabilty. Congratulations on a great buy!!!

    Fun guitars!
Mine is only gone because of the "you can't keep 'em all" rule.

If you ever like playing old school T-Bone Walker- style blues, it's fun to talke this guitar ( I do it with a Danelectro) put on the neck PU crank the Tone knob, but pick over bridge PU/bridge area- ' almost out-of-phase' nasally tone fun!

Just a cool sound option that's always there!

image.jpeg Here it is next to my 61ri SG. Only thing I don't like is the signature pickguard but Quickguards had direct replacements in tortoise shell like the original minus the signature. Ordered some D'Addario Chrome 10-48's as I'm not sure what's on it.
$400 delivered with a hardshell case..... Not bad !!!

I was looking at an early Korean Joe Pass, but ultimately opted not to get it, as it had a few cosmetic issues (including mid-aligned fretboard blocks) that I knew would drive me nuts.

I ended up with an Ibanez artcore that’s a similar size (I believe based on the George Benson body style), which I also put D’Addario Chromes on. They are fantastic… loads of fun, and great tones.
