I purchased it at the Dallas Guitar Festival this weekend and I’ve been playing it through my 1968 Deluxe Reverb. It’s extremely clean and plays great.

    Sweet!

Is it the angle or is that truss rod plug extra long?

Actually, looking at the deep notch on the upper bout, I'm thinking maybe a late 60s or '71. If so, you lucked out!

Looks like a possible transition piece. Double string trees but older body route. Entirely possible as that was the crossover year for these features.

Nice. It's in great condition for 48 year old guitar. Enjoy!

    Beautiful guitar! Congratulations!

Can you share a closeup of the bridge saddles and pickup?

I wish someone would start a guitar festival in the UK for vintage gear.

Was it just traders or can anyone sell at the festival?

    Lovely Tele by the way!

Nice axe. That's probably what my '73 looked like when it was new.

Nice! Someday I want to own a couple of actual vintage guitars in decent condition.

Nice axe! Real clean. What were they asking for it? Here's a pic of a close relation.
