To me, that headstock shape is SO much better than the ugly Tele headstock. It's why I have a Tele Deluxe neck on my Squier 51. I'd put this neck on my CV 50s Tele in an instant if I had one.

Ignore the MSRP. No one paid that much. It was more like $249/$299 at the time. They sold these for a few years (2012-2014).

Haha. Well, I have nothing against the traditional headstock shape. This is my first telecaster, and I have always been interested in them. I figured I would mod it, and the stock JM neck and pickup are where I would have taken it.

I have nothing against the offset bodies with telecaster pickups and controls, but I am more interested in this body style.

The Tele headstock shape has a specific interest: it allows you to go further up the neck and play country bends above the nut without having the lower part of the headstock in the way.

I have one that I put an old american standard neck on...it's the best tele I've ever played, hands down.

I have that ones sister, in vintage blonde. Love it and plan to hang onto it . Love the jm neck, though not the biggest fan of the jm neck pickup on it. Congrats , great tele for the $$$.

That is a good Telecaster. I bought one for under $300 when they were new. I sold it a few years back. I like the Vintage Modified line more than the Classic Vibe series. Right now, I have the Vintage Modified '72 Thinline and the Telecaster Custom. With a little work, they are as good as my American Fender Telecasters.
