GASP!!!...SO much better than the ugly Tele headstock...
No judgement, but do you have something that might appreciate in value in its "stock" condition?I figured I would mod it, and the stock JM neck and pickup are where I would have taken it.
Whoa! You can talk bad about my ex-wife but back off about the Tele headstock. It’s classic, efficient and damn good looking! To me, that headstock shape is SO much better than the ugly Tele headstock.
The Tele headstock shape has a specific interest: it allows you to go further up the neck and play country bends above the nut without having the lower part of the headstock in the way.I really gas'd for that back at the time. What a looker! Congrats!

To me, that headstock shape is SO much better than the ugly Tele headstock. It's why I have a Tele Deluxe neck on my Squier 51. I'd put this neck on my CV 50s Tele in an instant if I had one.
Ignore the MSRP. No one paid that much. It was more like $249/$299 at the time. They sold these for a few years (2012-2014).
I have one that I put an old american standard neck on...it's the best tele I've ever played, hands down.I picked this up today, second hand.

What makes yours so good? This is my first telecaster, and I don’t know much about them to compare to the model I bought.I have one that I put an old american standard neck on...it's the best tele I've ever played, hands down.
