NGD with the Kingfish Deluxe Telecaster. Great guitar. The neck is awesome, satin fell, nice thickness and width. The pick ups are very articulate as well. Modern voicing I would say, they sound nice.

Very happy with the acquisition.

Cheers

How are those pick ups? I actually saw Kingfish on the day this guitar was released. His first day playing it on tour. Man it sounded great!!!He is a Monster player. I love it when the artist actually plays their signature guitar. He played it his whole set. By contrast Kenny Wayne Shepherd played his fender signature Strat for 2 songs.

I was wondering when someone would grab one of these and show it off! I love Kingfish. Fantastic guitarist and Tele.

What led you to this decision? If I decide to go for a deluxe model, this one is on my list.

Very cool guitar--I love HH teles. I had a bead on a used Shiflett telecaster but didn't pull the trigger. The Wide Range pickups in standard sizing are visually appealing, and that bridge looks cool, too.

I decided to go for it because I was looking for a versatile guitar for my cover band that was a bit different, that would set itself apart a bit if make any sense. With this one, it has the bridge, the neck shape and finish (V shaped with satin roasted maple) and the pick ups. So after I went through the usual search for online demo, I decided to give it a go. Ne regrets so far. It covers a lot of ground. Cheers

The pups are great, I found them very articulate. You can roll back the volume a bit and they clean nicely and they have a very pleasant growl when pushed.

Was on sweetwater looking at those earlier and kinda intrigued. I’d never be able to do it justice like he can though, that dude is a beast.

Pick ups are good then. That’s awesome. I have gotten a few reverb offers on ones on my watch list. Been tempted a few times. Hopefully I can find a good deal on one eventually. I forgot to ask how is the v neck is it a pretty soft v?

Ever smell food when you just ate and aren't hungry. But you think if that smells that good when I am not hungry, it must be bodacious!!

This fits into that niche for me. I've procured 2 LPs and a J Mascis Bottle Rocket Blue Sparkle Tele in last 2-3 weeks. I should be fixed, yet this Axe smells really really good!! ;)

Checks a few boxes and few more not usually on my form. ;)

Hi, the neck is very comfortable. I am a fan of big huge neck, and although it is not a chunky neck to my standard (pretty subjective though...) it is very nice to play. The V shape is no too pronounced but you feel some meat in your hand. I haven't measured it, but it feels a hair wider than usual, maybe because of the 12" radius, not sure. But it is a nice neck to play on.
