Yep. Philly has nothing to be ashamed of. They fought hard to the end and easily could have tied it up late. As a Hawks fan, I'm glad they didn't, but they played hard and never gave up. I like that.... and wish we had a few of their players!

Saints have choked in the playoffs 3 years in a row. They can blame the refs all they want, but if they were the team they're hyped to be the refs would never get the chance to be a factor.

Even after that (admittedly horrendous) non call in the game against the Rams last year, Brees had the ball in overtime and had the chance to win it... but threw an interception.

I like Brees- he's kind of the Dan Marino of my generation- but the Saints are chokers.

That goes both ways. Besides the Wentz hit, the big story of the day from Philly fans is how the Eagles drafted Arcega-Whiteside instead of DK Metcalf. He’s been invisible for the most part whereas DK looks like a stud. They need to get a playmaking WR for Carson this draft.

Talk about anti-climatic. Three great games (including improbable Pats and Saints losses) and then one dirty hit by Clowney and my team is out of it 9 minutes into the game.

All year, I've been bemoaning the fact that Howie drafted Arcega-Whiteside over Metcalf. Now that was thrown in our faces.

I am. I thought offensively it would have been a more explosive game.

the refs need to be reevaluated...all the way to the guys that over rule the calls on the field in nyc...the bills yesterday had a call by a ref that was correct...the td that they got when the returner just tossed away the ball...the end zone ref made the right call...but over turned by ny

then the wentz hit...helmet to helmet by clowny...it was not going to really do much about the outcome as at that time wentz was gone from play

but the bills had a td that may have won the game for them

the referring has been worse and worse with the replays...time to get rid of replays...calls on the field stand as is

How is the Clowney hit dirty!?!?!
Both players falling forward, your head kinda leads the motion. Watch the replay, he rotates with shoulders and TURNS his head away. It was incidental, NOT DIRTY.

Philly fans are the worst! Both for opposing teams and their own Eagles.

The team played admirably, but lost. Put a band aid on your QB and try again next year.

I don't think the hit was dirty, but i think it was a foul and should have been called. Dirty means he was trying to hurt him and was intentionally trying to head hunt. I don't think that was what happened, but the hit exceeded the rules. I read the explanation from one of the refs and I believe the league will not stay with that.

Funny how no one talking about the refs missing Melvin Jenkins being offside when Seattle had 3rd and 3. Hawks kicked a field goal, but certainly may have scored a TD with the right call. We will never know.

That why I wouldn't want a "college type" QB who tries to run a lot. Those defensive guys are huge monsters. Only a matter of time before they get hurt.

Philly's coach should've threw the red flag or was that possible?
