Won 100 bucks on the Vikes in a work pool but yikes what a dull game.
Vikings win with a big time, non call, push off in the end zone. Saints: 0, Officials : 2
Officials refused to even revue it. I thought all scores were reviewed?
I think Brees is done, looked like it all game.
if you think that was PI, you are looking with eyes that want to see something just not there.
Nonsense indeed. Great catch by Rudolf and great throw by Cousins. Congrats to the Vikings.
Man is Wentz just unlucky? Out most of the half in the concussion protocol. Game is still tight though.
The deal here is that Wentz was designated as the “franchise boy”, but he is prone to injury. Eagles owner, Jeffrey Lurie thinks that GM Howie Roseman is god. So, they traded Nick Foles, and kept the injury-proned Wentz, even though Foles was a SB MVP? I’m still trying to get my head passed this situation.
JK get it?
I understand them not signing Foles, but having 40 yr old McGown as your backup is inexcusable.
Yeah, I never understood the Wentz hype. It'll get bigger now that he is hurt again...
Not just me, all 3 after game analysis hosts agreed wholeheartedly it was PI. As did the game ex official working with the announcers. I have no vested interest in either of these teams though. Just what I observe. But it spoils the whole football ritual when this work is done so poorly. maybe just draw winners names out of a hat?
Wentz got hurt because Clowney went head-to-head and drove his helmet into the ground...as he was already down. In a league where everything is about protecting the QBs and calling so many ticky tack penalties I don’t understand how that was never mentioned on the broadcast.
the least reliable people are collinsworth and michaels both of whom have axes to grind... they have reasons to root for outcomes and to misrepresent...
there was a late hit on mckown as well that went uncalled and unspoken of... Michelle Tafoya effectively covered for clowney... which sucks...
Seattle Philly game.... wow! Sorry to see Wentz go out. Injury prone or not, I don't think anyone would come out of a hit like that in great shape. Zach Ertz....what a stud! I broke a couple of my ribs a few years ago and two weeks later I still couldn't move very well. On top of that, a lacerated kidney?! Tough dude and a great tight end. Fletcher Cox was amazing today.
DK Metcalf..... what a great game. That touch down was a ting of beauty. Russell is such a great deep ball thrower. Seattle D toughed it out and made stops when it counted. This is the type of game they have played all season. Each win was close. Just how they are built.
Big kudos to Philly for hanging tough in spite of the injuries. They are a tough, hard nosed team for sure.
They had the actual NFL dude on he said 'not PI and we looked at it carefully.'
There were MANY other calls that were missed or overcalled... that 'non call' was reasonable.
Russell Wilson has been smacked hard with late hits that weren't called at least 10 times this season. He finally got a call today. Amazing!
Yea. You should know me well enough sportswise to know that I very rarely if ever cry about calls/non-calls etc. Even with Wentz the Eagles still may not have had enough to win. The D hung in tough but was terrible all day on 3rd down. Overall the Eagles played admirably considering their circumstances but just didn’t have enough and didn’t deserve to win, Seattle was the better team. I’m just annoyed the illegal hit was glossed over.
He sure did. And according to the rules that was a legit call, total boneheaded play by Barnett that cost 4 pts.
There's one in every thread!
Not an Eagles fan, but That lay it all out for sure. Since week 1! You know it’s gonna be a bloodbath if Phillies playing
There is always room for virtue signalling! Just be careful, I've seen the bloody noses folks get when they ride on a horse that high.
