I have to say, going without all the sports and other entertainment has made me realize how unimportant it all is. I guess it’s just keeping it all in perspective - this stuff really doesn’t matter and is merely entertainment. When you start taking it more seriously than that, maybe that’s an issue.

My Giants are looking at a 4 win season. 4-12
That's not a good feeling to have before the season even starts.

As the saying goes: We are three years away from being three years away.

Will be interesting seeing Cam Newton QB the Patriots after almost 20 years of Brady.

Indeed. My Chiefs play both the Pats and Bucs this year. Going to be interesting to see both teams.

I’m a Vikings fan. I’ll save money on Super Bowl tickets this year. Again.

Comcast has this feature where you can be watching a game and have all of the real time scores
and stats show up on the right side of the TV.

Just click "C" under the "info" on remote and move curser to what you want to see.

My regional team is the Lions. So I have a lotta other true favorite teams.

I like football and am glad to have it on. I thoroughly enjoyed the Chiefs vs Texans and am looking forward to checking out some of the other action today.

The Eagles play the temporarily-named Washington Football Team. If Wentz is on, look out!

I"M IN! we are playing family fantasy football, huge fun, roast fest... our league is global, relatives from all over.. 12 team league so, lots of sucky players getting time...

    we are pumped for it...

all the controversies and 'winning' and being right... goes out the window once they kick off!

I got the same deletion and comment. Thinking about tuning into a few games today FWIW. Been watching since preschool with my dad. He is no longer living but some habits are hard to break.

I got the comment and the delete - and appreciate the moderation - 2020’s been a ***** that I must not let get the best of me.

Came out on fire for most of the 1st half...has been struggling since. One of those games where the Eagles seem to be clearly the better team but are in danger of letting Washington hang around. Haskins is pretty bad though.

Also, with like 6 starters out for the Eagles, it would've been nice to have had a 2nd round draft pick that wasn't Jalen Hurts...a backup/3rd string QB and healthy scratch today. But I'm just a guy on a guitar website so what do I know.

To their credit it's nice to see Reagor getting open downfield...good sign.

Alex Smith coming off injury of a nearly amputated leg would be a better option at QB than Hoskins. He's looking pretty inept. Fortunately for them Carson is single handedly keeping Washington in the game.

Check out the 30 for 30 on Alex Smith if you haven’t seen it. Very gruesome infection. Miracle that he has recovered.

I just realized that the season is actually starting. For some reason I thought they were going to still play some preseason games.

I did see it. The fact that he’s willing to go back out there is pretty amazing.
