Steelers weren’t trading AB to the Pats. Got to he Raiders act a fool. Get a deal with the Pats in less than 8 hrs. Hmm. Yep the Patriot way. All planned. Giants might have a made an average Dak get his money. Cowgirl hype train is in full force. It’s week one lets see how things look after week six.

are the steelers any good...average...you put your best cb on the best wr...when you have gordon and brown...one will be on a lesser cb and make big plays...better to shut down brown (if thats posible) and make him miserable and make the locker room unsettled...prolly wont happen though

The thing about the NFL is that nobody, and I mean nobody, cares about “in a few years” anymore. Not the players, not the coaches, and certainly not upper management and owners. The league officials might try to act like they do... but they end up bowing to whatever the owners tell them.

All anyone cares about is winning a playoff game, or more.

They certainly don't "need" AB. If this signing fails the team can cut ties with him without anything really lost.

The team looked excellent last night. Though the offensive line running blocking needs work. This is another area Gronk made a big impact, he had exceptional blocking skills. It will be good to get Ben Watson back week 5. He still has strong run blocking abilities. And can catch a few up the middle as well!

Hard to judge based on last night - the entire Steelers secondary looked like a bunch of bungling rookies.

I was curious about the AB acquisition too, since he really doesn't seem to fit the Pats' locker room culture AFAIK. $15 mil plus $9 mil signing bonus? I guess they aren't worried about him taping Belichick in the locker room and posting it to Facebook, or recording calls with the GM and posting it on social media, or what helmet he wants to wear, or any of the other antics.

The Pats always seem to know what they're doing though; I'm sure they have something prepared for it. I would love to see him get benched, toss another Gatorade cooler, and have unflappable Coach B be all like, "yeah I'm only going to talk about the game and the players on this team."

    Message from Antonio Brown's agent:

Well, he DOES work hard, but I don't know about all that other "fitting in" and doing what's asked of you crap :D He kind of seems the opposite of that!

Looking forward to watching Eagles v Falcons Sunday night. Probably won't get to watch Steelers v Seahawks since I'm out of network and it's a 1:00 game, but I expect that might be a close one that could go either way. A Steelers win would reassure me that maybe they're at least doing some things right, but a loss might indicate more serious problems.

Nice win by Tampa Bay last night despite the lightning delay.

AB will be playing on Sunday for New England - could be interesting in Miami.

Apparently after getting blown out week 1, a number of Dolphins players requested to be traded, including safety Minkah Fitzpatrick. That kind of telegraphs to me what kind of match up it might be :D

Ouch. Big QB losses with Brees (Out 6 weeks) and Roethlisberger (done for year).

I don't think I'll bother to watch the Giants this year. The defense looks like it's gonna suck and they miss OBJ.

The Jets looked pitiful last night. I think a good survivor league pick this week would be NE over Jets.
