The best hot dog I have EVER had was a Nathan's, but it was at the old refurbished Yankee Stadium in July 2007.

We were in the front row of the mezzanine level, near the RF foul pole. We set our food trays on the railing in front of us, prompting a scolding from a Yankee Stadium usherette. I had heard that Stadium usherettes could be surly, so I suppose that experience was a badge of honor, worthy of a bucket list scratch-off.

I could lie and say that it was the same lady who helped us find good seats at the Brooklyn Tabernacle in 2019.

We're politely pretending that the city's obvious, serious, self-inflicted problems don't exist.

Never been to NYC, though I have been to Chicago quite a few times. Thought I'd like to live in a big city when I was younger, but now I'm quite happy living in the country in Indiana, and can't imagine what I was thinking back then...

My wife and I love NYC. Been there a few times. The odd things is, we've only been in January and February. Look forward to going back. We've got a few favourite haunts and restaurants already staked out. It's like Toronto on steroids. A totally different vibe. Our favourite hotel so far is the Algonquin. It's a historic building with an incredible amount of history. It was the literary hub for the writers, journalist, authors back in the day, and a major scene for jazz.

    We'll see. I just bought 2000 of them for 20 bucks. :)

We've always re-used them for kitchen garbage, wet gym towels and clothing, etc, but our stash has run out. Heck, I may start taking them to the grocery store with me, too, instead of the big re-usable bacteria farm that the store gave me.

That's St. Patrick's Cathedral, where I sang in the choir for 10 years.

Yes, sure, it's necessary to do that sometimes and remember there is a lot to love about the dirty old gal.

We're hoping to go to London over the Christmas holiday this year. Fingers crossed.
