Another thread to curate!

Oh, yeah. My wife and I are both word nerds and that irritates us.

You curate things that are kept in an organized, intentional fashion.

You never, not ever, no way, ever "curate" something you're selling, like a "carefully curated selection of cheeses."

Hey, what about "BOSS"? I've tried bringing that back.

As in "Man, that guy's new GTO is really BOSS."
Or "You got a guitar from Woolworth's? BOSS. Let's start a band!"

Also, as far as this "perfect" thing goes, there is nothing worse than hyperbole.

I use boss and fab occasionally. My wife and I use groovy liberally.

Basically, I can't stand it when people basically use the word "basically" in basically every sentence.

"Literally" is another major annoyance even when used properly.

And any overly positive remark. Excellent, awesome, PERFECT, great, super... isn't anything just good anymore?

People seem to get pissy if you tell something is "fine" or "good" as if you should congratulating them with a "super awesome" for an ok cheeseburger.

Whatever!
