Congrats! I've participated in one courthouse wedding and it was the best one ever.
Congrats!! lovely Guitar! enjoy you guys!
Pics or it didn't happen... Congratulations
Congrats! Sounds like a great start.
Congratulations all around! May you and your bride enjoy years of happiness together; may the Ric be a source of enjoyment.
What? A honeymoon Rick? You have chosen wisely, 88. Congrats and best wishes.
Best of luck to you both! That's a great start!
Congratulations! That would be a great story for the kids and grand kids!
They say"be careful what you ask for because you just might get it"
Congratulations on a great day all around
I love a romantic story with a happy ending . Your blushing bride seem to all ready have an understanding of your peccadillos,
as all spouses need be for a fruitful union. I realize that having the other women in the house is an ounce of prevention : good for goose , good for gander. I do love a romantic story as long as it doesn't involve my getting married again.
That's a great story. Congrats!
(Was she going to make you wait until April for the Ric?!)
Wish the both of you many many years of joy and Family.
With a Rick around your neck!
Congrats! What a wedding! and what a wedding gift! All I got was a watch....
Thanks for sharing, truly heartwarming story, and a wonderful guitar bagged to boot. Congratulations to you both. Now, you have to buy her an expensive ring .
She's a keeper!
Thank you everybody! It was quite an amazing day. The Ric is everything I could have hoped for -- very nice, playable neck, super resonant unplugged, really solid. And the wife is pretty good, too!
So what do you think of Foles to Chicago?? I'm a lifelong Bears fan but always had a soft spot for the Iggles. Was really glad to see you guys take it all the way!
My gal enlisted a guitar-playing friend of mine to help hunt one down, and then to go check it out in person and give her the thumbs up on the purchase. Sneaky!
Somehow I managed to keep both her and the Ric happy!
Sweatpants! We had no idea when we left for the courthouse that we were actually gonna get married then and there. And we were rushing out the door to get there before they closed for the day (or as far as we knew, for months...)
This is my third marriage... her second... Up until a few months ago we kind of had a mutually understood thing where we were happy just being together, certificate or no. But having been together for nine years, we've pretty much worked out the sticky patches between us and are solid as a rock. This one is a keeper!
Apparently so! And she's terrible at keeping secrets. She told me that when I went to record a few weeks back she almost blurted out, "Why don't you take your new guitar?"!!
Thanks again, everyone. I'm happy as a clam.
