Bought dirt cheap Vintage brand tele few months ago from Japan (4900Y). Took a while for it to come as it was shipped via sea, so it was really slow.

Believe it is MIJ due to the font used for "Vintage" It is same as another strat I saw that states it is made in japan and it is different then new non japanese made Vintage brand ones.

Guitar looks unused. No scratches or dents (othet than 1 really minor one) Frets look almost unused. It seems like someone played it for few days and put it away for good. Body seems to be solid top as I see flames inside all the cavities and going from top to the sides to the bottom and up on the other side again, all matched up.

No idea of year made or model really. Any info is appreciated :)

Welcome. You'll never have to worry if it's a real "vintage" Tele.

I played a "Vintage" Les Paul copy. It was relic'd and was their unofficial "Peter Green" model, complete with non-matching knobs and out-of-phase pickups. It was a pretty amazing guitar, honestly.

I need another LP like I need a hole in the head, but I'd love to get one.

Wow cvrle1, you got an old one. A vintage Vintage. How's it sound? I recently bought a new Vintage brand 62AB reissue Tele. Pretty good value for $750 Australian.

Resurrected thread but I'll throw .02c worth in.

That's funny. A vintage Vintage. Never seen these teles.

I got one of the Vintage SG husks from GFS a year ago & was gonna slap a Maestro on it but I just scored a complete copy of another brand that's nice. I'd love to find one of those SG Jrs they made.
