I think when I was small, I’d really love twisting all those knobs and the feel of the springback when I pounded the the grill fabric repeatedly and with all my strength. I’d probably get a lesson in the impermanence of things that are fun to beat up.

The right pedal could provide a more authoritative tone of voice. Tone that will make her hair stand on end. Tone that will make your wife swoon. Tone that will have your neighbors asking that you be louder. The amp is a good start. You just need the right pedal.

7 years ago my granddaughter would crawl all over my Gretsch guitar case. In and out of it. It was her favorite toy. She wore dresses that had glitter on them and the glitter of course transferred onto my guitar case. To this day I still see the glitter on the case. Not as much as there once was but it is still there. It brings me great joy!!

The kid looks big enough to climb over all of that already. I got used to holding my guitar and letting the kids strum the strings, stopping them when they got too out of control. They got used to the idea that it was daddy's stuff but they could take part if they did it right. I started making up songs about things they had done that day like my dad used to do. Pretty soon they started gathering around every time I took out the guitar case. After they got what they wanted, they would drift away to their own stuff.

No use wasting the amp. Get a guitar and plug it in!

Haha, that's cute. Brings back memories of when mine were toddlers.

    Just one:
Oh, wow, shiny thing. Need to get there fast. Stumbles. Slams full force into that pointy table leg. Blind in one eye for the rest of her life.

I can't believe my eyes, nor that in all previous replies only one person warns you about this.

Maybe it's just me, old and cautious.:(

I appreciate the concern! But don't fret, she's more stable than that. And as I said, I was watching her closely near there. It was just to prevent her from getting too far, too fast.

It wasn't up so I didn't have to watch, it was up so I didn't have to walk so far to bring her back.
