We had our 2nd little girl earlier this year, and she started walking super fast, using her big sister as a role model. It's created the problem of a little person with really poor decision making skills walking all around our house. This is especially problematic when you have a room full of music gear just sitting out in the open. I've devised a way to cut the room off from our living room using a table and a 1969 Deluxe Reverb.

    Thoughts?

Edit to add that I still watch her carefully.

She's going to get stronger. A lot stronger. You're going to have to upgrade to a Twin Reverb.

I've got a '67 Bassman with the oversized cabinet that I will use next.

That's about the same age my grand daughter got from her car seat and backed her mom's Pickup into a tree. That amp is not going to stop her more than once or twice.

I have a two-year-old son who thinks amp knobs are for turning, guitar strings are for very forceful strumming, and acoustic guitars are a dancing stage. All my equipment stays in a closet and comes out only when I play it.

Haha, good replies. As I said, still supervising the kids. There won't be any damage to the amp.

My oldest is 3 and a half, and she is very respectful of my gear. I let her smash the old drum kit once in a while, with ear protection on.

I'm thinking a couple of Super Sixes would do a better job.

    .

+1 ... knobs can be a choking hazard.

I can already see the gears spinning though ... "How do I make this thing go to ELEVEN! because that's just one more than ten!"

Hide the pencils, paperclips and point things. She will be trying to plug in to the grill cloth, speaker and miss the inputs.

There are reasons for the man cave...personally mine is in the dark scary corner of the basement for good reason.

had almost that same table in an almost former life. It's last gig was as a platform to keep my bike rollers off the carpet.
